MARY ANN GERHART was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Mrs. Gerhart attended Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, and received her Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from Queen's University in 1968. In 1972, she obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen's University and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1977.

Mrs. Gerhart moved to Lethbridge, Alberta, and was enrolled as a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 1981.

Mrs. Gerhart has been associated with law firms both in Ontario and Alberta and she has been an associate of Pollock & Company since 1988.

Mrs. Gerhart's experience in the practice in law has been primarily in the areas of family and divorce law, wills and estate, adoptions, and dependent adult matters. She also has an active practice in mediation.

Mrs. Gerhart has taught the "Woman and the Law" courses as a sessional instructor at the University of Lethbridge. She has also been active as a Director of Parent's Place, Lethbridge, and she is currently a Director of Chinook L'Arche Society. Home
