Cody Olson

Cody J. Olson is an associate at Pollock & Company. Cody holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary, with a major in accounting and a minor in Russian, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Victoria.

Cody spent his final semester of law school at The Law Centre — a full-time clinical program through which law students provide advice, assistance, and representation to clients who are unable to afford a lawyer. In that role, Cody gained experience in a range of practice areas, including criminal law, family law, and human rights law. Upon graduation from law school, Cody completed his articles in Calgary at a leading Canadian law firm, where, following his call to the Bar, he continued to practice as an associate in the area of commercial dispute resolution. Cody’s time as an associate at that firm included a two-year secondment to the firm’s Middle East office in Doha, Qatar, where Cody focused on international commercial arbitration.

Cody joined Pollock & Company in 2018 and conducts a general legal practice, including civil litigation, criminal law, estate planning and administration, and real estate. Cody works in the Claresholm and Lethbridge offices of the firm and is pleased to assist clients throughout southern Alberta. Cody lives in Claresholm with his wife and children.
